Fall may very well be in the Minnesota air but the harvest season at the Minneapolis Farmers Market remains hot and heavy! The weather is good, the vendors are still coming and the table are full.
Take a stroll through the market and you’re bound to see multiple varieties of the best homegrown apples that Minnesota has to offer. Haralson, Mcintosh, Cortland and of course Honey Crisp have already been spotted and more are expected to be on hand this weekend.
While it’s the apples that are the focus of the fall, you’ll still be able to find squash, gourds, pumpkins, sweet corn, tomatoes and peppers to fit your fancy. It really is one of the best times of the year at the market.
