- 1 pound of bacon
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 generous pinch of cayenne pepper
Heat skillet to medium high. Cook bacon in batches, turning as necessary until crisp.
Drain on paper towels. Wipe skillet clean. Return skillet to stove and heat to medium. Return bacon to the pan. Add maple syrup and cayenne. Toss to coat and cook until syrup is almost gone. Remove to plate, cool slightly, and serve.
